Troop 30 Lazy Scout Cobbler

Many years ago, Troop 30 spurred our interest in dutch oven cooking. I still have the card with this recipe they handed out at Camporee long ago.

Ingredients

Two 21-ounce cans of fruit pie filling
1 package cake mix: white, yellow or spiced
1 stick butter or margarine
ground cinnamon

Pour pie filling into oven. Pour dry cake mix over fruit. Cut butter into slices and place on top of dry mix. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake 45 minutes at 375°F or until done.
